i've just realised smth...

i'm 18

no, it's not that i'm forgotten or bcos i didnt have a gd bday celebration.
but.. rmoeality just hit me, i'm 18. no re kiddy stuff (there's a diff b/w childish and goin crazy).. time to think deep about life and stuff.

pple cant wait to reach 18 or 21... or start having a family, or start getting into a relationship, or start getting into Universities and stuff. but after u finally got it, u just donno how to handle it right?? until smth hits u in the head, and u go "oh man, i'm 18. ohh i shaving my head soon? ohh i'm a Uni student already?"

time waits for no one..

sry if this post doesnt make sense, i just thought i'll be enterin a new phase of my life real soon. and the 18 thing just popped into my head, had to blog it. heh

NEW ADDITION: seth, the new drummer aka Dylan's clone. his drumming is actually pretty gd when he warms up.. like seriously.. camy looks very interested and engrossed by Seth's drumming. heh

NEW ADDITION: do the girls really need me to intro him? he's ben seow, electric guitarist. he's known as the walking MP3. haha, very very musically talented.

someone once asked me why i look so serious when i play for worship. well... take a look at all the pictures, do any of us bother to smile? we're supposed to be serious. when i relac, i play wrong...

but i know that if i do, then all will crumble. the prayers and foundations that were built 2yrs ago, will fall before my very eyes. now's not the time, even if i have to hold on with just my little finger, then i'll do so.. anythin for them, they're the closest pple to my heart.

back from quite a short hiatus..
some updates here u go..

SuperStar Cluster Camp is finally over, actually it was over a wk ago. finally got the chance to serve in Worship again, and finally worked with the same pple (plus new additions)
i think it's been a yr since i touched the keys/synth.. i'm so glad that Janelle has always been there to help me. i sometimes feel as though i'm troubling her, so needa keep askin her for help with the buttons and stuff.
dylan got his own fair share of fun. had to play his "least-fav" songs, haha... i could sense that he was abit pissed. heh
i really wanna do this more often, as u guys know... worship is smth i hold very dear to me. music has been this gift from God, and i wanna use it in the best way to please Him. hopefully platform someday?? still prayin..

i thought the band managed to bond really quickly, even though the lack of outside rehearsals... plus some of them just entered our Cluster (seth, wei ern, ben, cordelia).. but managed to really unite as a band to bring forth the worship unto God. i totally enjoyed Sat's concert, and i must say.. i didnt know yiliang could sing so well. heh

part i like abt being in the worship band, i get to slack during message time. the band just nua back-stage/ canteen/ back of the hall.. somethin abt me, everytime i serve, i'll be super energetic on stage. but once off, that's it... i'll be damn shagged. i guess that's why they say, "Filled with the Holy Spirit"...

startin to think of it.. i'm missing the band oredi. yes i do get to see them ard during svc and in Hall 9, but the mere 3 days/2 nights of workin tgther is simply unforgettable. God has really chosen this bunch of musicians that just clicked each time. simply amazing..

FYI: one discovery... dylan has a clone (err ya)... that's seth. same hair and apparently they like similar kind of music. and dylan's sister is studyin the same course as seth. haha..

alright. til next yr guys.. hopefully we'll still be able to work tgther. fingers crossed.

i nvr felt so short of time before...
i had nvr been pulled in so many areas..

22 songs
no beforehand rehearsals
a number of different songs that require tonnes of keyboard
only 1 hr practice before worship actually starts
emails still flying in at this moment (hello, onli 2 more days!!)
an unpacked camping bag

and..

a cellgrp to run
7 guys to take care
things to plan for the 7 guys

a family to spend time with
daily dose of piano concert rehearsals
common test exams that will commence in 3 wks time, with little preparation done so far

a CIP project that requires my assistance
kids that are waiting for me to teach them keyboard
CD to produce
songs to compose

i wish i was Hiro Nakamura. i wish i could stop time and deal with matters one at a time. or i could just teleport myself to the moon and stay there until these stuff all disappear..

but reality hits me again...
"darren, u're not Hiro"..
